Royal Moving and Storage of Jacksonville

Royal Moving and Storage's Jacksonville website describes a family-owned business operating since 1985. Its service range covers local and long-distance moves, commercial relocations and help loading or unloading a customer's truck or container. The Arlington Expressway location is the Jacksonville operation considered here; similarly named businesses in other countries are unrelated to this profile.

Its most useful distinction for a household between closings is the storage arrangement. The operator says its climate-controlled facility is reserved for customers using its moving services. It should therefore be evaluated as part of a coordinated move, rather than as public self-storage that anyone can access independently. Ask how furniture is inventoried, when access is possible and what the final delivery adds to the written price.

The website also advertises packing materials. Have the estimate specify who will wrap glass, artwork and other fragile pieces, and who is responsible for reassembly. These details matter more than a general promise to handle belongings carefully, because they create a record if a damage claim is necessary.

The company publishes Florida mover registration IM426, but this profile does not certify its current state status; match the contracting entity to the official lookup before booking. Its website contains conflicting hours: one section says Monday–Saturday 8 a.m.–8 p.m. with Sunday closed, while the footer says Monday–Saturday 7 a.m.–8 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Use 904-724-6683 to confirm the relevant office and appointment rather than choosing whichever schedule seems more convenient.

Google review excerpts: Of three visible Google reviews, two describe careful or hardworking crews, while one alleges damage to framed glass and a desk. These are customer reports, not independently established facts; clarify packing and claims terms.
