This is distinct from enrolling in an academic degree or certificate program: ask the Workforce Development and Community Education office about the specific conversation course and placement, rather than applying a general college admissions requirement to every class.
The July–December 2026 catalog lists beginning English Conversation I on Mondays and Wednesdays from August 24 to December 7, with an 8:30–10:45 a.m. Georgetown section and later daytime sections. It labels Level I free and requires an assessment before registration. The published higher conversation levels have their own prerequisites and fees; free beginning instruction does not mean every English course is free.
