Le Petit Triangle Cafe
A French café in Ohio City serving crepes, brunch and European-inspired dishes, with a patio at Bridge and Fulton.
About Le Petit Triangle Cafe
Le Petit Triangle grew from Tom and Joy Harlor’s idea, as Ohio City residents, to create a café that would feel like an extension of the neighborhood’s living room. The Parisian reference is in the format—espresso and a croissant in the morning, lunch at midday, wine and dinner later—but its Cleveland address is distinctly local: a Bridge and Fulton corner with a dining room, patio and a menu that pairs French standards with seasonal ingredients.
The menu follows that idea beyond one meal. Brunch brings sweet and savory crepes, French toast, eggs, escargots, cheeses and small plates; dinner adds dishes such as moules marinières, duck and seafood. It offers recognizable French-European cues without staging a solemn bistro: escargots with garlic butter and baguette share the menu with ratatouille crepes and fruit-forward desserts. Review themes include escargots, the patio, croque and ratatouille. Recent diners praise the service while some note that tables can feel small.
Before opening the café, Tom and Joy ran a gourmet deli and catering business in Tremont for a decade; that experience helps explain a menu designed for meals shared over time. Reservations and takeout are available, while street parking is limited. The current website gives conflicting schedules between its brunch and general-hours sections, so confirm the time before setting out. For a long morning, Le Petit Triangle makes a residential corner feel like a small French pause without losing its neighborhood scale.
